I went to the new location for the first time on 111 I had a nice meal and I brought my grandkids and they had a good time listening to the music. The food was very good and I would go back again

They have live music, a beautiful bar, a nice dining area and an outside patio area. The facility is connected to a hotel across Royal Plaza. Located across the street from Little Caesars and Arco. Used to come to this place when it was in the other location off of Indio Boulevard and Jefferson. Same owners same menu. If you're looking for a place to have a small private birthday party or event, they have a room you can use for that.

Great food from the guacamole to the tortilla soup! Excellent service as well. As a bonus I think I found my favorite chimichanga place!!

Where do I start? My husband and I are driving home to Arizona from a fun cruise out of California. Not wanting the fun to end I look up Mexican restaurants in Indio to find some good food and a margarita. Macario's knocked it out of the park. Owner, Gabriel greets us at door into a fun, festive atmosphere and after conversation recommends shrimp enchiladas in a creamy chipotle sauce. Oh my goodness, like nothing I ever had before. House margarita was better than most specialty margaritas. If you are ever in this neck of the woods I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Great place in Indio with live music. We were referred by a friend who said that this was authentic Mexican food. Yes, it had many dishes that I have never seen before. I tried the steak and shrimp molcajete. It looks like a soup. I asked "how do you eat it?" They said "just eat it." It came with tortillas and you can put the meat and vegetables in them and eat them like fajitas. Then you can drink the soup/gravy. Delicious. Sort of like a Mexican cioppino. We went on a non-busy night. The service was good and all of the wait staff were upbeat and friendly.

We went to Macarios for the first time last night. Our wait was about 20 minutes and we were seated in the main dining room at the front. The food was good, we had the stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp with the spicy sauce. We didn't get a chance to have margaritas but they looked good coming from the bar. The service was spotty but they were very busy so it's understandable. My only complaint would be that they had a musical entertainer in the main dining room. The music was TOO LOUD and it was difficult to hear conversation during dinner. It would have been nice if the volume could have been a bit lower. It was so nice when he went on break. What made hard was he was playing the saxophone. So on top of the packed dining room noise and music it a was a bit unpleasant. Next time I go and there is music I'll request to sit away even if I have to wait.

The moment you open their door you are transported to a colorful fiesta. There's a dining area and the bar area. We chose to sit by the bar. The bartender was so friendly! Our server was attentive. The sizes of the margaritas are for all levels of drinkers. I went with the small, which the server referred to as the baby lol. The chips and salsa were so good we needed a second round. The tacos were okay. I got one chicken and one ground beef. Felt they needed a little more flavor. But I would totally come again even if it was just for drinks and apps.
